GREAT NORTHERN WAY TRUST
Great Northern Way Trust is the developer of an 18.3 acre site on the southern edge of Vancouver’s False Creek Flats. GNWT’s vision involves the revitalization of the site to bring together businesses, academia and the general community into an emerging district for the digital and creative sectors. GNWT is owned by the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, Emily Carr University of Art + Design and the British Columbia Institute of Technology. The site was donated by Finning International Inc. to the four institutions in 2001.
As part of its ongoing collaboration with Great Northern Way Trust, CatStatic Interactive created an evolving interactive digital model to aid in the internal planning and design of new facilities on the site.
